Hi, welcome to our group. We are an STM group working in areas of Electrochemistry in the State Key Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Solid Surfaces, Xiamen University. Employing in-situ scanning probe microscopy (STM and AFM), we probe lateral as well as vertical structures at solid-liquid interfaces at atomic and molecular resolution; Using SPM as a platform, we also investigate charge transport through metal quantum wires and single molecule junctions, as well as inter- and intra-molecular interactions of biomolecules. Current research interests include ionic liquid electrochemistry, molecular electronics, fundamentals of energy conversion and storage, and electrochemical analysis.
