Hi, welcome to our group. We are an STM group working in areas of Electrochemistry in the State Key Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Solid Surfaces, Xiamen University. Our research directions include scanning probe microscopy, interfacial and nanoelectrochemistry, ionic liquid electrochemistry, electrochemical analysis, and fundamentals of energy electrochemistry. By employing in-situ scanning probe microscopy (STM and AFM), we probe lateral as well as vertical structures at solid-liquid interfaces at atomic and molecular resolution; Using SPM as a platform, we also investigate charge transport through metal quantum wires and single molecule junctions, inter- and intra-molecular interactions of biomolecules, as well as nanomechanical properties of solid-electrolyte interphases of Li metal anodes. In the last five years, over 30 peer reviewed research articles are published in journals including Nature Commun., Chem, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Chem.
